We at A Still Waters are here for professionals as you expand your skills base. We offer CEU's as (ACEP) approved certified education trainers for NBCC, NADAAC and NCSAPPB and have now added online trainings in addition to live in person trainings. We also offer special rates for any agency who invites us to their facility.

Meet Wanda Burger

Wanda Burger has worked in health care for more than three decades. She began her career as a psychiatric nurse in the 80s. Then, in 2004, Crossroads brought her to NC as a therapist and from there she became a supervisor and clinical director for major agencies throughout North Carolina.

In 2007 Wanda opened Changing Seasons PLLC, a service specializing in trauma, PTSD, anger management, domestic violence, and substance abuse. In 2013, she and her family relocated to the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she opened A Still Waters Training and Counseling.

On most weekends she travels throughout NC leading trainings for other professionals as an ACEP for NBCC and NAADAC, and has served as a guest trainer for agencies including McLeod, MAHEC, Fellowship Hall, VIsiting Nurses, Veterans and LPCANC.

Basic Addiction Counseling February 15th 3 CEUs

February 15th 10-1 This is an overview of addiction (misuse of substances). This is great for those new in the field and a nice refresher for the rest. We will look at the substances, s/s , side effects and interactions. Join us in person or Live via Zoom. The Power Point will be mailed with an invitation a few days prior. Clinical Supervision Intermediate-Advanced 7.5 CEUs

FEBRUARY 8TH 8 AM to 4 PM A wonderful overview of Clinical Supervision. We will include Intermediate and Advanced Supervision for those who have been in the field for "a minute". Newer Clinicians will learn much including What "A Voice" is as well as many interventions for Administration and Clinical Supervision. Join Us Via In Person or ZOOM. For those attending In person we have built in breaks, for you to take as needed along with lunch, breakfast and snacks. Those Zooming are able to take a restroom break as needed. We are trying to get 7.5 hours in without having the long lunch and average breaks. We will have an interactive group and it will be fun! 100.00 IN advance; 110.00 dollars if registering after January 1st! NBCC NAADAC and NCSAPPB CEUs.


Monthly Supervision


We provide clinical supervision (3 hours + 3 CEUs) at a cost of $100 per month.
