We at A Still Waters are here for professionals as you expand your skills base. We offer CEU's as (ACEP) approved certified education trainers for NBCC, NADAAC and NCSAPPB and have now added online trainings in addition to live in person trainings. We also offer special rates for any agency who invites us to their facility.

Meet Wanda Burger

Wanda Burger has worked in health care for more than three decades. She began her career as a psychiatric nurse in the 80s. Then, in 2004, Crossroads brought her to NC as a therapist and from there she became a supervisor and clinical director for major agencies throughout North Carolina.

In 2007 Wanda opened Changing Seasons PLLC, a service specializing in trauma, PTSD, anger management, domestic violence, and substance abuse. In 2013, she and her family relocated to the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she opened A Still Waters Training and Counseling.

On most weekends she travels throughout NC leading trainings for other professionals as an ACEP for NBCC and NAADAC, and has served as a guest trainer for agencies including McLeod, MAHEC, Fellowship Hall, VIsiting Nurses, Veterans and LPCANC.

March 23rd 10-1 This is a training that we led for MAHEC and LPCANC that is a REFRESHER of the changes in the DSM 5. Most clinicians have implemented and worked with the changes for awhile now. OUr goal is to process some of the changes and how the changes have made/not made an impact in our work. THC Not The 60's 3 CEUS

April 20th From 10-1. Join us as we review some major, documented changes in today's THC verses the THC of the 60's.. You will come away with a better understanding of today's potency, the history of how we got here and new concerns for the use of THC. We will meet from 10 AM to 1 PM with open breaks. Dual Diagnosis 3 CEUs

March 16th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Join us as we learn how to navigate comorbidities We will learn the levels of care and when and where to place our clients. Learn which area to address first or both at once! Drinks and snacks included. Monthly Supervision


We provide clinical supervision (3 hours + 3 CEUs) at a cost of $100 per month.
